General  Marketing & Services  (G.M.S)  is a Lebanese  company  that  acts  locally  and  internationally,

allowing  offerors such as business  owners  to pay for  items they  want or need with  their own products

and  services.  G.M.S  allows  you  to  purchase  needs  and  wants  with a  discount  equivalent  to  your

deposit, and guarantees you can get new business just by being a member of  GMS’s purchasing network.

Example of Barter at G.M.S

 - G.M.S Member A has an aluminum factory 

 - GMS Member B has a garments shop

Member  “A”   needs  to  buy   clothes,  he  visits  Member  “B”   shop  and  buy  the  clothes  he   wants.

The  amount  he  bought   with  is  for  $300. GMS  removes  $300  from  member  “A’s”   account   and

places them in  Member  “B”  account. Now  member  “B” has an  extra  $300  in  his  account  where he

can use them to buy products from Member “A’s” business or from any other member in GMS’s network.

How to pay to members:

Every  member receives a booklet  with all the participating  offerors in the network. Along with the booklet

every  participant  will  receive an  GMS  check  book. When  a buyer  wishes  to buy  a good, he / she will

therefore  write a  check  to  the  seller. Later GMS’s  team  will collect the checks and  GMS removes and

deposits  from one account to another.

Role of GMS:

2.    2 -Promotes your business, and gets you new clients.
